Terms of Use
Effective date: September 15, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of CITYCUE. By creating an account or using CITYCUE you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use CITYCUE, and at least 18 to submit listings, claim a venue, or post Live Updates. Some events listed on CITYCUE have their own age requirements set by the venue or organizer, which are shown on the listing and enforced by that venue, not by CITYCUE.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.
3. User submissions
Events, photos, comments, reviews, Live Updates, and profile content you submit remain yours. By submitting them you grant CITYCUE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, adapt for formatting, and distribute that content within the service and in connection with promoting it. You confirm you have the rights to everything you submit.
4. Event accuracy
Listings, times, prices, lineups, and availability are supplied by organizers, venues and community members and can change without notice. CITYCUE does not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or accurate. Always confirm critical details directly with the venue or organizer before traveling or purchasing.
5. Ratings and reviews
Experience and safety ratings are separate and are submitted by members. Reviews may be labeled as coming from a verified attendee only when CITYCUE's systems confirm a legitimate check-in for that specific event. Do not post false, paid, retaliatory, or manipulated ratings, and do not attempt to inflate or suppress another person's or business's score.
6. Live Updates
Live Updates describe conditions at a moment in time, such as crowd level, wait, cover, parking and specials. They expire automatically so stale information is not shown as current. They are community and venue reports, not verified facts, and should be treated as a hint rather than a guarantee.
7. Prohibited behavior
Do not post unlawful, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, deceptive, or sexually exploitative content; impersonate any person or business; scrape, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service; upload malware; misuse other people's personal information; create fake accounts, check-ins, attendance, or reviews; or use CITYCUE to promote unsafe or illegal activity.
8. Organizer and venue responsibilities
If you submit or manage a listing you confirm you are authorized to represent that event or venue, that the information is truthful, and that you will update or cancel the listing promptly when details change. Trust badges, verification status and founding-partner status are granted only by CITYCUE and may not be self-assigned; attempts to do so may result in removal.
9. Ticket links and third parties
Ticket purchases, reservations, and transportation happen with third parties under their own terms and refund policies. CITYCUE is not a party to those transactions, does not process ticket payments, and is not responsible for third-party services, pricing, or entry decisions.
10. Cancellations and changes
Organizers may cancel or change an event at any time. CITYCUE marks known cancellations on the listing and notifies members who saved it where notification preferences allow, but cannot guarantee notice. Refunds, if any, are handled by the ticket seller or organizer.
11. Intellectual property
CITYCUE, its name, logo, design, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative services from CITYCUE without written permission. If you believe content on CITYCUE infringes your rights, use Send feedback in Profile to contact us.
12. Moderation
We may review, label, hide, edit for formatting, or remove content, and may reject or unpublish listings, at our discretion and without prior notice, to protect accuracy, safety, and community trust. Members may report content and may appeal a moderation decision through the appeals form in the app.
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms or presents a risk to members, venues, or the service. You may delete your account at any time from your profile; deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Disclaimers
CITYCUE is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. CITYCUE does not screen venues, organizers, or attendees, and does not guarantee your safety at any location. Use your own judgment.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the CITYCUE operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of CITYCUE or from any event, venue, organizer, or third-party service you find through it.
16. Disputes and governing law
Governing law and dispute venue will be stated here after CITYCUE's operating jurisdiction is finalized. Applicable consumer protections remain unaffected.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be signaled by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
18. Demo information
Anything labeled Demo Data is fictional and exists only to demonstrate the product. It is not a real recommendation, verified business, or current event.
19. Contact
Use Send feedback in Profile for support or legal inquiries while formal contact details are being finalized.
